Our founder, a connoisseur of delicious foods, hailed from a family of foodies. He grew up relishing the savoury flavours prepared by the family's traditional khansamas. However, he noticed a stark contrast between the taste of these homemade delicacies and those served in restaurants, hotels, and even at dinners hosted by many of my friends at their homes. This observation sparked a quest to uncover the secrets behind the unparalleled taste of his family's traditional dishes.
In other words, it all started with a family's love for cooking and an appreciation for the incredible diversity of spices found in India from Kashmir to Kerala. As we sat around the dinner table, savouring the rich flavours of our homemade dishes, we realized that these spices held the key to unlocking a world of culinary delights.
Hunting through the world of spices, our founder's family and a few like minded friends embarked on a journey to unravel the mysteries of flavour. They pondered over the factors that contributed to the exceptional taste of the meals: the use of fresh spices from the latest crop, the careful selection of hand-picked quality ingredients, the magical balance of heat during the curation of spices, and, of course, the appropriate sequence and timings in the cooking methods.
Being committed to excellence, we recognise the power of expertise and knowledge. As such each key member of our team underwent rigorous training at the prestigious National Food Craft Institute as well as at the specialized R&D units for Spices. Equipped with state-of-the-art know-how and honed skills of the trade, we meticulously formulated our business plans, ensuring that every aspect of our operations reflects the highest standards of quality and innovation. This foundation of expertise is ingrained in everything we do, from sourcing the finest spices to crafting unique blends that tantalize the taste buds of our customers.
